Cuireann an roinn seo sonraí ar fáil maidir le forbairt churaclaim san Oideachas faoi Reiligiúin agus faoi Chreidimh (ORC) agus Eitic.

Baineann cuid thábhachtach d’oideachas páiste le foghlaim faoi, agus tuiscint a fháil ar shaoil, luachanna agus traidisiúin a chairde, a chomhscoláirí agus baill phobail níos fairsinge. Tá cuid mhaith den fhoghlaim seo ar siúl cheana féin i seomraí ranga Éireannacha, ina gcothaítear mhothúcháin an pháiste féin maidir le haitheantas agus leis an áit is dual agus ina dtugtar meas ar na mothúcháin sin. Lena chinntiú go bhfuil an deis do gach páiste tabhairt faoina leithead d’fhoghlaim agus lena chinntiú go n-aithnítear dea-chleachtais atá ann cheana féin i scoileanna, tá an CNCM ag forbairt curaclaim san Oideachas faoi Reiligiúin agus faoi Chreidimh (ORC) agus Eitic.

Reáchtáladh comhairliúchán ar na moltaí i gcomhair curaclaim Oideachais faoi Reiligiúin agus faoi Chreidimh (ORC) agus Eitic ar an 3 Samhain 2015 go dtí an 31 Márta 2016.

Sa tionscadal seo, chuathas i mbun comhoibriú le líonra scoileanna chun cleachtais ionchuimsitheacha a bhí ar siúl i gcomhthéacsanna éagsúla a roinnt. Léiríonn na cleachtais ionchuimsitheacha sin an éagsúlacht inár bpobail agus inár scoileanna, idir reiligiúnach agus chultúrtha. Téann siad i gcion ar theagasc agus ar fhoghlaim eitice agus luachanna inár seomraí ranga freisin. Tá mórán acu bunaithe ar na Treoirlínte Idirchultúrtha do Bhunscoileanna agus d’fhéadfadh nasc a bheith acu le smaointe sna moltaí le haghaidh Oideachas faoi Reiligiúin agus faoi Chreidimh (ORC) agus Eitic. D’eascair cinn eile ó riachtanais agus ó chomhthéacsanna scoile ar leith.
